Last Trip to NYC

Kristen and I made what will likely be our last trip to NYC for a while in April. It was cool to be a short flight / train ride away, and hopefully we can get back some day.

That's Derek in the third picture below. I'm pretty sure I ended up in one of his near that same arch.

Trip to Vermont

So it's been a while since I posted...Kristen and I have moved to the Minneapolis area so I suppose I am no longer a 'Sooner in Boston', but I'll keep updating this site instead of making you look somewhere else.

Before we left, Kristen and I went up to visit Burlington, Vermont for the weekend. It's a really neat little town with a great downtown area. It's also home to the Ben and Jerry's ice cream factory and the Magic Hat brewery. I highly recommend visiting if you get the chance but if you drive, pack water and snacks because there isn't a whole lot on the drive.

IHL Holiday Party

Kristen and I went to her company's holiday party in Atlanta last month. Open bar, good music, a good time was had by most.

Christmas Cruise

Kristen and I went on a Caribbean cruise right before Christmas, stopping in Haiti and Jamaica. Unfortunately, it rained both days so we didn't really get a chance to get off the boat when it was in port. Still, it was a lot of fun and a very relaxing week.

Boston Common

Mallory and Derek came to visit in October, and we did the walk around the Freedom Trail. If you have never been to Boston, it goes through some historic and very interesting areas. The gravestones in the picture below were over 300 years old.
